A new large house in Carrickmines takes inspiration from a Victorian Villa.
CLIENT BRIEF
The Clients looked to the example of existing houses in the development of the design of their new house. The gables, verandahs and tower of this Victorian house were the inspiration for this new house in Carrickmines.

DESIGN
There is a progression through the house from the arrival area at the front to the verandah looking out onto the south-facing garden to the rear. The tower allows views over the surrounding area. The garage connects the house to the approach avenue.
